Visits and account activity

Clipped measures page views and visit sessions. A random identifier stays in tab storage and is renewed after 30 minutes of inactivity. While signed out, these measurements contain no name or email address. They do not store your IP address, referring website address or a device fingerprint.

While signed in, page views and progress summaries are linked to your account and visible only in the site’s private administration. When you interact with a case, its summary records opened pieces, the number of validated syntheses and saved excerpts, whether notes exist and case completion. The content of notes, excerpts and searches is not sent. Resumed or imported games may include earlier work on this device.

Detailed history is retained for up to 90 days, with daily cleanup. The latest summary per case stays linked to the account until deletion. Deleting the account also deletes its recorded page views and summaries. Game saves stay in the browser: these measurements do not let you resume a game on another device.
